Local-First Data Storage

By default, all your financial data (assets, debts, events, goals, and projections) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it, generate a shareable link, or enable cloud sync.

Analytics

We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, and general location. Google Analytics uses cookies to track sessions.
• Umami — a privacy-focused analytics tool that collects basic page view data without using cookies.

Neither analytics service has access to your financial data, which stays in your browser.

Optional Cloud Sync (Supabase)

If you choose to create an account, your projection data is synced to Supabase (a cloud database service) so you can access it across devices. When you sign in:

• Your email address is stored with Supabase for authentication.
• Your financial projection data is stored in Supabase's database.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab.

Cloud sync is entirely optional. The calculator works fully without an account.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to track user sessions. No other cookies are set by this site. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can use a browser extension to block Google Analytics or enable your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics (analytics)
• Umami (analytics)
• Supabase (optional authentication and cloud storage)
• Google Fonts (typography)
• Vercel (hosting)

Data You Control

You can reset all local data at any time using the Reset button in the app. If you have a cloud account, you can delete it from the Profile tab. Exported files (CSV, Excel, JSON) and shareable links are under your control once generated.
